Warm Greetings to our Solstice Sisters near and far! Happy February to each and every one of you. We are brimming with excitement to be together again in June.

The 2024 WSS Council recently completed a weekend “Planning Camp” to find our Theme for 2024.  We spent time our Sacred Bundle, we shared our hearts, and we sang and drummed energy into our collaborative vision.

Together as a Council, and with each of you in our hearts, we began to weave the beautiful tapestry that will become our Solstice Gathering this summer…

As always when we share, we were SO surprised by how many of us are going through many big things. Challenges, joys, changes, losses, gains — yet we all showed up — away from the world to gather together in Ceremony.

As we laughed and shared the mysteries of all of our lives, one theme kept  recurring as we pondered “How do we do it all? In our relationships? With our healing?”

And the answer kept coming:  
“She knows…She knows…She Knows the Way!”

As we sat and voiced our very real concerns about our daughters, we realized… She Knows the Way.

As we look to heal our hearts and bodies, we remembered… She Knows the Way.

As we grow in power, patience, grace, wisdom, and love we know… She Knows the Way!

From our hearts to yours, the theme for our 2024 WSS Gathering will be:

“She Knows the Way”

We would love to hear from YOU what “She Knows the Way” of in your life? Of Medicine Plants. Of the EarthMother. Of her Grandmothers. Of her Own Path.

These knowings will be woven into workshops, ceremonies, and more offerings at our Summer Celebration — we can’t wait to share with all of our sisters!

TRAVEL AND ARRIVAL

Can you feel the excitement building? It is almost time to gather together in the warm sweet world of our pine tree ceremonial circle! Important updates have been made to the Welcome Packet – it now includes “Travel and Arrival” which contains the address and driving directions to our Camp! If you are registered, your email for the link.

BLESS THE LAND WITH THE FLOW OF WATER

In *addition* to bringing a small amount of earth to add to our Earth Weaving ceremony, we are inviting you to also bring a small container of water from a place that is special to you! You will be invited it to pour onto the land, and the roots of the trees in our Closing Ceremony. This could be water from your home, water that you let crystals soak in, water from a river, lake, or stream near you – all will be welcome as we say goodbye and bless the land at Camp K at the end of our weekend.

CALLING FORTH THE AMAZONS!

Council is calling for all women who stepped into Amazon last year, or who identify with the Archetype of the Amazon, to have a presence in our Opening Ceremony! We need our Amazons to stand as Protectors for our opening Ceremony – and enforce the boundaries of the Sacred Energy as we begin our time together. We are asking our Amazons to bring ceremonial Amazon regalia, and wear it at Opening Ceremony, Thursday evening.

The work we do

From manifesting a theme, to ordering the port-a-potties, the WSS Council’s work together is a labor of love. There are many moving parts to the event. None of these parts work without the key component – our sisterhood! It is you, the women who answer our call, who create our sacred circle. Every single soul in attendance is precious, vital, and a gift to the community.

Please consider what you might bring to our gathering. Is it a teaching, a healing modality, a workshop, a children’s activity? Are you called to ceremony? To tending the land? What does “Step into the flow” mean to you?

Start thinking about it, and you can let us know on your registration form. A council member will then reach out to you to help you integrate your gift into the weekend.

Thank you, dear ones, who joined us for four days of the Sanctuary of Sisterhood! The weather was perfect, the ceremonies were full of spirit, and the camp was most certainly a sanctuary. With around one quarter of our participants newcomers, we were awash in the hope and joy of transformation!

Due to Covid restrictions, some of our usual offerings will not be an option for this year. Most notably, we will not have access to indoor areas. This means attendees must provide their own meals, and we will not be offering workshops in the various buildings on the property.

We will be making adjustments and accommodations for the Moon Lodge and Sweat Lodge and limiting our Wellness and Divine Beauty offerings.

Another change for this year is that our group won’t have access to the full campground, but will have privacy in our own area that includes the meadows and all camping spaces. We know we can create sacred space within this more intimate setting, and nobody has to walk up the hill!https://www.womenssummersolstice.com/offerings/
