We are pleased to announce our caterer for the 2018 event is once again Emily Vogt of Vashon Island. This is her second year as our caterer, and before that, Emily attended WSS as a participant.

Emilia - Fall 2014 [407896]Culinary Artisan and Naturalist Emily Vogt, MA.

Emily is a whole foods chef, circle facilitator, and student of Holistic Nutrition, as well as an avid gardener. Her life passion is eating healthy foods and believes that eating local, seasonal and organic foods are essential for both taste and the health of the environment and communities. Emily’s appreciation for a sustainable lifestyle enables her to be an enthusiastic nature mentor that enjoys sharing about NW native plants and their edible and medicinal uses, often incorporating them into her menus. Her desire is to support and teach sustainability, strengthen community and reinforce self-esteem for our youth.

Note to those with food restrictions and food allergies
The cost of catering meals is one of the biggest expenses of this event. Caterers do their best to offer high quality meals with vegetarian options. However, they cannot accommodate everybody’s food restrictions, allergies and preferences. Those with significant food restrictions should bring along personal food to supplement the meals provided. We are not able to provide reduced rates for people with food restrictions.
